Pro dots
68 VCT pros plus streamers, templates and community dots – every code with a preview. Filter, copy, import into Valorant.
Source: our pro crosshair database (codes from public pro profiles, date on each card). Pros occasionally change their crosshair.
A dot crosshair is a crosshair made only of the center dot – inner and outer lines are off. The most common pro code is 0;P;o;1;d;1;0b;0;1b;0: white dot, default size, full outline. 21 of the 245 VCT pros in our database play exactly this code – no other code appears more often. Copy it, import it in Valorant under Settings → Crosshair, done.
A dot takes up almost no space on your screen. You see your opponent’s whole head instead of hiding it behind four lines – a real advantage at long range and on small heads peeking over boxes. Because the dot always sits exactly in the center, it is also a very precise reference point for crosshair placement: you keep the dot at head height on the edge where the enemy will appear.
In our pro crosshair database of 401 codes, the dot is the second most common style after the classic cross: 68 of the 245 VCT pros play a pure dot. Among Champions 2026 players it is 16 of the 62 pros we track – including bang (100 Thieves), Meteor (T1) and PROFEK and Sayonara (Team Vitality).
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Dot codes in total | 77 |
| of which VCT pros | 68 of 245 (28%) |
| Most common exact code | 0;P;o;1;d;1;0b;0;1b;0 (21 pros) |
| White as color (VCT dots) | 50 of 68 (74%) |
| Outline at opacity 1 (VCT dots) | 65 of 68 |
What stands out is how uniform the pros are. Almost nobody experiments with semi-transparent dots or unusual shapes. The typical pro dot is white, default size and has a strong black outline – exactly the setting you can copy with one click above. That shows: the dot is not about looks, it is about a calm, unambiguous target that works equally well on every map.
Before you switch, an honest look at both sides is worth it. The dot is no miracle cure – it is a tool that suits a particular playstyle.
Size: dot thickness in Valorant ranges from 1 to 6. 52 of the 68 pro dots keep the default thickness of 2, eleven play the smaller value 1, five the value 3. Pros practically never go bigger – a large dot covers exactly what a dot is supposed to leave free. At high resolutions such as 1440p the same value looks smaller than at 1080p, so test in the range whether you find the dot instantly.
Who plays the mini dot with thickness 1? Among others sociablEE (FUT Esports), keiko (NRG), Xross (Nongshim RedForce) and PROFEK (Team Vitality). The slightly larger value 3 is used by azury (Eintracht Frankfurt), Kai (Trace Esports) and gobera (2GAME ESPORTS), for example. Both work – what matters is that your eye finds the dot without searching.
Color: white dominates with 74% of pro dots, followed by cyan (7), green (5) and red (4). Green is played by Boaster (Fnatic) and zekken (MIBR), cyan by OXY (Cloud9) among others. With a black outline, white stands out on almost any background. More on hex values and the best color per map in our crosshair color codes.
Outline: 65 of 68 pro dots use the outline at opacity 1. The dark edge keeps the dot visible in front of bright walls. In the code that is o;1 – the outline is on by default, and its opacity is 0.5 if not specified.
| Code part | Meaning |
|---|---|
0;P | Start of the code and of the primary crosshair |
c;5 | Color (0 white, 1 green, 2 yellow green, 3 green yellow, 4 yellow, 5 cyan, 6 pink, 7 red, 8 custom) |
h;0 | Outline off (on if not specified) |
o;1 | Outline opacity 1 (default 0.5) |
d;1 | Center dot on |
z;1 | Dot thickness 1 (default 2, range 1–6) |
a;0.66 | Dot opacity (default 1) |
0b;0 / 1b;0 | Inner and outer lines off |
The best players in the world are competing at the world championship in Shanghai – and a good quarter of them aim with just a dot. Our database tracks 62 Champions pros, 16 of whom play a pure dot. Notable: four players on Nongshim RedForce play a dot, three on Karmine Corp. Francis and Ivy of Nongshim RedForce use a green instead of a white dot.
| Team | Players with a dot | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Nongshim RedForce | Francis, Ivy, Rb, Xross | 4 |
| Karmine Corp | Avez, LewN, SUYGETSU | 3 |
| 100 Thieves | bang, Timotino | 2 |
| Team Vitality | PROFEK, Sayonara | 2 |
| Xi Lai Gaming | happywei, Rarga | 2 |
| FUT Esports | sociablEE | 1 |
| NRG | keiko | 1 |
| T1 | Meteor | 1 |
You can find the codes of all 16 players in the grid above via the “Champions 2026” filter. One click copies the code, which you can import into Valorant straight away. Another 10 Champions players combine a cross and a dot – those are in the full database.
Numbers are one thing – here you can see how differently pros still use the dot. All six codes come from our database and can be copied with one click. Watch the details: size, color and whether the code contains its own sniper part.
The classic white default dot with full outline that bang also plays on the Champions stage. Own sniper setting in the code.
0;s;1;P;o;1;d;1;f;0;0b;0;1b;0;S;o;1Exactly the same primary part as bang: default size, outline opacity 1, all lines off. Proof of how alike pro dots are.
0;s;1;P;o;1;d;1;f;0;0b;0;1b;0;S;o;1The mini dot with thickness 1. Covers even less – ideal if you play at high resolution and still find the dot reliably.
0;s;1;P;o;1;d;1;z;1;f;0;0b;0;1b;0;S;b;1;c;8;o;1Green dot with outline. The lines are invisible via length 0 or opacity 0 – visually a pure green dot.
0;s;1;P;c;1;o;1;d;1;0l;0;0o;2;0a;1;0f;0;1t;0;1l;0;1o;0;1a;0;S;c;1;o;1The pro dot in cyan: same size and outline as the standard, but in the second most common pro color.
0;s;1;P;c;5;o;1;d;1;0b;0;1b;0;S;o;1A red dot with outline – rare among pros. Only four VCT dots in our database are red.
0;P;c;7;o;1;d;1;0l;0;0o;2;0a;1;0f;0;1b;0What all six have in common: the outline is on and clearly visible. Even the red and the green dot rely on the dark edge. If you take just one thing from the pro dot, make it this.
Your primary crosshair applies to every weapon without a scope. Still, a dot feels different depending on the gun. The overview shows where it plays to its strengths and where you should take a closer look.
One headshot is enough at any range. The dot is perfect here for taps and short bursts at head height.
Single shots with high precision – the dot gives you an exact target for every shot.
The eco revolver lives on headshots. With a dot you focus fully on placement.
Precise taps in the pistol round – the dot and the Ghost are a proven duo.
On long sprays the dot lacks orientation. For bursts it still works well.
When scoped, the sniper crosshair applies, not your dot. It has its own settings tab.
Important for sniper rifles and scopes: Valorant separates the primary crosshair from the settings for “Aim Down Sights” and “Sniper Scope”. In the code you can see this in the sections A and S after the primary part P. In our database, 102 VCT pros have their own sniper settings in the code and 20 their own ADS settings – a pure dot code from the builder only changes the primary crosshair.
Would you rather build the dot by hand than import a code? Here’s how in a few steps:
Tip: save the dot as a new profile instead of overwriting your current crosshair. That way you can switch between both in the range within seconds and compare. If you want to know which pro your current crosshair is closest to, try the Crosshair Twin.
Switching to a dot almost always feels worse in the first rounds – not because the dot is worse, but because your eyes are used to the old crosshair. A small plan makes the switch much easier:
10 minutes each of bots at medium and long range. Goal: keep the dot at head height without searching.
Two or three deathmatches with the Vandal or Guardian. Focus only on placement, not on kills.
First unrated, then ranked. Afterwards decide: keep it or adjust size and color.
Important: don’t change your sensitivity in the same week. Otherwise you won’t know whether the difference comes from the dot or the mouse. If you take your sensitivity over from another game, the Sensitivity Converter converts it properly first.
Of the 245 VCT pros in our database, 154 play a cross, 68 a dot and 23 a mix of both. The table sums up the differences:
| Style | Pros (VCT) | Strength | Weakness |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dot | 68 | Clear view, exact target | No error feedback |
| Cross | 154 | Good orientation, also when spraying | Covers a bit more |
| Cross + dot | 23 | Exact center plus orientation | More elements on screen |
A dot suits players who tap or burst a lot – aiming for the head with the Vandal, Guardian, Sheriff or Ghost. If you like to spray longer with the Phantom, you may miss the feedback lines give you. It is not a rule: pro dots are played by duelists just as much as by controllers and sentinels. Try the dot for a few deathmatches before you decide – your eyes need one or two sessions to adjust.
Prefer a small cross? The best crosshair codes by playstyle show the most common pro crosses with codes. And in the Crosshair Generator you can adjust every line yourself.
No other single crosshair code is as widespread among VCT pros as the white dot with outline. It is simple, covers nothing and forces you into clean placement – that is exactly why so many world-class players use it.
If you tap a lot and work at head height, try it for a week. Start with the pro standard from the builder, adjust size and color to your resolution and give your eyes time. And if the dot isn’t for you: another 401 codes are waiting in our pro crosshair database.
There is no single best one, but the most common pro dot is 0;P;o;1;d;1;0b;0;1b;0 – a white dot at default size with a full outline. 21 of the 245 VCT pros in our database play exactly this code.
Copy the code, open Settings → Crosshair in Valorant, click the import icon next to your crosshair profiles, paste the code and confirm. No restart needed.
Most keep the default thickness of 2: 52 of the 68 pro dots in our database use it, 11 play the smaller value 1 and 5 the larger value 3.
A dot shows neither movement nor firing error. If you are still working on counter-strafing and spray control, a small cross often gives you more feedback. For tapping and headshot placement, though, the dot is a very clean target.
Yes. Besides eight color presets there is “Custom” with your own hex value. In the code it reads c;8;u;RRGGBBFF – our builder writes that for you.
In our database 16 of the 62 Champions players we track, including bang (100 Thieves), Meteor (T1), PROFEK and Sayonara (Team Vitality) and four players from Nongshim RedForce.
No. Valorant has separate settings for Aim Down Sights and for sniper scopes. In the code these are the sections A and S after the primary part P. A pure dot code only changes the primary crosshair.
Size depends on your resolution: at 1440p or 4K the same value looks smaller than at 1080p. Test in the range and raise the thickness by one step if needed.
