Who is Chamber in VALORANT?

Chamber is the most elegant sharpshooter on the roster – a French weapons designer who brings his own custom-built guns into battle and decides every confrontation with style and ice-cold aim. As a Sentinel he holds long angles and retreats in a flash when things get dangerous.

Chamber entered the game in 2021 and was a special case among the Sentinels from the start. Where Killjoy and Cypher secure the map with gadgets, Chamber secures it with pure firepower: he calls in a heavy pistol and a deadly precision rifle, sets down a slowing trap and places a teleporter anchor that lets him retreat from any duel. That makes him an aggressive, aim-heavy anchor – half Sentinel, half Duelist.

For you as a player, that means a very satisfying, gun-centric playstyle. Chamber rewards clean aim like hardly any other agent: whoever knows their angles and lands their shots holds long sightlines almost single-handedly. At the same time his teleport takes the risk away: you can peek aggressively and be back in safety the next moment.

In this guide you get the complete overview: we explain Chamber's role as a Sentinel, every ability in detail, tips for beginners and advanced players, his best maps – and you can listen to his most distinctive lines right here. How good your own Chamber performance really is gets analyzed by the Valorant-Spind coach analysis locally on your PC.

Role

Chamber's role: the aggressive anchor

In VALORANT there are four roles: Duelist, Initiator, Controller and Sentinel. Chamber is a Sentinel – the role of defense and safeguarding. But Chamber interprets this role in his very own way: instead of passively placing gadgets, he holds angles actively with his gun and secures himself with a trap and a teleporter.

His special contribution is control of long sightlines. With his Headhunter pistol and the sniper Ultimate he holds distances at which other Sentinels would stand no chance. His Trademark warns him of flanks and slows attackers, and his Rendezvous teleporter lets him peek aggressively and jump straight back into cover. That makes him ideal for players who trust their aim and want to hold angles offensively.

As Chamber you carry the responsibility to control dangerous angles for your team. Your utility is strong, but it's no substitute for good aim – the difference between a good and an average Chamber lies in peeking aggressively without overestimating yourself, and using the teleport at the right moment.

In short: Chamber is the Sentinel for aim players. A heavy pistol, sniper Ultimate, trap and teleport make him the most stylish angle-holder in the game.

Whether your angle control has an impact you can see in the Valorant-Spind app: through round outcomes and your best agent per map you can tell whether your Chamber really holds the sightlines.

Trademark C – the warning trap

Trademark is Chamber's safeguard against flanks. You place a trap on the ground that scans for enemies. When a visible enemy comes into its range, it starts counting down and then destabilizes the terrain around it, creating a field that heavily slows attackers. That gives you a warning that someone is entering your flank – and the slowed enemy is an easy target for your gun.

Headhunter Q – the heavy pistol

Headhunter is Chamber's signature weapon. You activate a heavy precision pistol with which – given good aim – you land lethal hits even before buying a real gun. In the alternate fire mode you aim through a scope for precise shots at range. The pistol makes Chamber dangerous even in early rounds and is the reason he's considered one of the best eco-round agents.

Rendezvous E – the teleporter

Rendezvous is Chamber's signature ability and the heart of his style. You place a teleporter exit on the ground. As long as you're on the ground and within range, you can reactivate the ability to teleport there in a flash. You can pick up the exit and reset it. This lets you peek an aggressive angle and be back in safety the next moment – the core of Chamber's low-risk, offensive playstyle.

Tour De Force X – the sniper Ultimate

Tour De Force is Chamber's Ultimate and one of the most spectacular weapons in the game: you conjure a powerful precision rifle that instantly kills enemies on a direct upper-body hit – essentially a free Operator sniper. In the alternate fire mode you aim through the scope. And when you kill an enemy, a field forms at the spot that slows nearby players. With it, Chamber holds entire angles single-handedly and dominates long sightlines.

Guide

How to play Chamber right: tips for every level

Chamber is mechanically demanding but immensely rewarding. These tips take you from "I hold some angle" to "I dominate the long sightline".

For beginners: aim before aggression

Chamber's value stands and falls with your aim. Practice the Headhunter pistol in the shooting range until you hit reliably at range – it's your most important tool in eco rounds. Place the Trademark deliberately on a flank or an entrance you can't watch, so you get a warning. And only peek long angles when your teleporter anchor is set.

For advanced players: peek-and-teleport

Chamber's signature play is aggressive peeking with a retreat. Set your Rendezvous anchor behind cover, peek an angle for a quick shot and teleport straight back before the enemy can react. Combine this with the sniper Ultimate to hold long sightlines and jump to safety after every kill. Change your anchor's position regularly so enemies can't figure it out.

Angle-holder on defense

Chamber is among the best agents to hold a long angle on his own. With a trap for safeguarding, a teleporter for retreat and his strong weapon, he delays an entire push while your team rotates. It's exactly in these situations that a good Chamber decides rounds – with a single clean shot.

Mental tip: As Chamber, discipline matters more than recklessness. Peek aggressively, but don't overestimate yourself – your teleport is your safety net, not a free pass. The Valorant-Spind App analysis shows you through round outcomes whether your angle control is working.

Setup

Chamber crosshair & settings

Hardly any agent lives off aim as much as Chamber. A precise, calm crosshair is a must here – especially for the quick headshots with the Headhunter pistol and the lethal shots with the sniper Ultimate.

You don't need a special sensitivity for Chamber: your mouse sensitivity should allow clean shots and quick turns. Most players sit at an eDPI (DPI × sensitivity) in the 200–400 range.

To make Chamber feel precise: create your crosshair in the crosshair generator, adopt a code from the pro crosshair database or take your cues from the pro settings.
