Initiators like Sova set up attacks, gather information and create openings for the team. Controllers like Omen control sightlines with smoke and areas and dictate the pace. And Sentinels like Killjoy, Cypher or Sage lock down, defend flanks and keep the team alive.
Your personal agent often says a lot about your preferred playstyle – but not always: some players are aggressive sentinels or cautious duelists. A particularly interesting aspect of the test is comparing your result with what you actually play. Many players discover that their "soul agent" isn't the one they pick most often. A calm Sage type forcing themselves into aggressive Jett play often feels uncomfortable in the match – and conversely, a born duelist rarely blossoms in a sentinel position. So the test can give you a real hint about which role you feel best in and where your natural talent lies.
That doesn't mean you have to commit to one agent. Quite the opposite: whoever masters the basics of several roles is more valuable to their team because they can flexibly fill whatever is missing.
