A fair question: how does the app read my data without me logging in anywhere? Here's the honest explanation.

No login, no username, no password. The app never asks you for credentials.
How it reads your data
While Valorant runs, the Riot client stores a local session file (a "token") on your PC that the game itself uses to identify with Riot. Valorant-Spind reads exactly this local token – your password is not in it and is never read.
Everything stays on your PC
Value, coach and heatmap are computed directly on your computer. No server, no account, no tracking – nothing is uploaded.
Read-only – no risk
The app is strictly read-only. It buys nothing, changes nothing, writes nothing back to Riot. Your account can't be harmed.

Note on antivirus / Windows Defender
On some PCs, Windows Defender flags the file as "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac" (e.g. Wacatac.B!ml or .C!ml). This is a well-known false positive – not a real trojan. The "!ml" suffix means a machine-learning model merely guessed based on the file pattern; this exact detection hits practically every PyInstaller-packed indie app. Valorant-Spind was built by me from my own source code and contains no malicious code – nothing is uploaded, nothing is changed, no credentials are requested. Microsoft has since reviewed the file itself and removed the detection. If your Defender still shows the old "Trojan:Win32/Wacatac" message (until the signature update reaches you), it's exactly this false positive – you can safely continue the installation (choose "Allow" / "Keep" / "Run anyway" in the Defender prompt).
✅ Confirmed a false positive by Microsoft – detection removed: „The submitted files do not meet our criteria for malware or potentially unwanted applications." – Microsoft's malware-analysis response to our submission (Aug 2026).

The easiest way is with Valorant-Spind: download the free Windows tool and keep Valorant running in the background. The app then reads your locker locally from the client and automatically converts the value of all your skins into Euros based on their Valorant Points prices – without any login and without typing in a single skin by hand.
Is Valorant-Spind free?
Yes, Valorant-Spind is 100 % free. There are no hidden costs, no subscription and no paid premium version – you can use all features such as locker value, coach and heatmap for free. The app is available for Windows.
Is it safe – do I risk a ban?
No, there is no risk of a ban. Valorant-Spind only reads data from the Valorant client that already exists locally on your PC and never asks for credentials or your password. The app does not interfere with the game, changes nothing and works read-only – your account cannot be harmed.
Which operating system is Valorant-Spind for?
Valorant-Spind is a Windows application and runs on all current Windows versions (Windows 10 and 11). There is currently no version for macOS or smartphones, since Valorant itself is played on PC.
Is my data transmitted anywhere?
No. Valorant-Spind works locally on your computer: the locker value, coach analysis and heatmap are calculated directly on your PC, there is no user account and no login. To load skin data, prices and your game statistics, the app queries the servers of Riot Games and the public database valorant-api.com – just like the game client itself. No data is transmitted to me or any other third party.
