To convert Valorant to Fortnite sens, multiply your Valorant sens by 12.6 to get your Fortnite sens in percent (precisely × 12.601), using the same DPI and the same value for X and Y. For Fortnite to Valorant, use Fortnite % × 0.0794. Example: Valorant 0.4 at 800 DPI equals Fortnite 5.04%; Fortnite 8% becomes Valorant 0.635. Targeting and scope sensitivity are not part of the conversion.
Fortnite and Valorant display mouse sensitivity in completely different ways: Valorant with small decimals like 0.4, Fortnite in percent with separate sliders for the X and Y axis. If you switch between the two, the numbers can be confusing. A Valorant to Fortnite sens conversion solves it with a single factor. On this page you get a two-way converter, charts for 800 and 1,600 DPI, an explanation of the percentage scale and which Fortnite sliders you need to set separately.
Choose the direction and enter your sens and DPI – when converting to Valorant, enter your Fortnite value in percent, e.g. 6 for 6%. The result appears instantly and becomes the new input when you switch direction. The converter calculates Fortnite eDPI as DPI × sens as a decimal, because websites report that figure in very different ways.
The conversion keeps your hipfire turn distance (cm/360) identical. Fortnite eDPI = DPI × sens as a decimal (5% = 0.05). Targeting/scope values are set separately.
All you need are the two games’ yaw values, i.e. the rotation per mouse count. Valorant sits at 0.07° per sens unit, Fortnite at 0.005555° per percentage point. That gives you:
Both values are measured standard values, not official figures from Riot or Epic Games. For Fortnite, senslab.pro, sensconverter.app and sensiconverter.com all list 0.005555° per percent (or 0.5555° per 1.0).
Fortnite shows mouse sensitivity in its menu as a percentage, separately for the X and Y axis. Behind 5.04% is the decimal 0.0504 – which is why Fortnite numbers look so much bigger than Valorant numbers even though they describe the same hand movement. In the converter, just enter the percentage without the sign.
These charts show common Valorant values and the matching Fortnite sens in percent (X and Y equal). The cm/360 applies to both games.
| Valorant sens | eDPI | cm/360 | Fortnite sens (%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.20 | 160 | 81.6 | 2.52% |
| 0.25 | 200 | 65.3 | 3.15% |
| 0.30 | 240 | 54.4 | 3.78% |
| 0.35 | 280 | 46.7 | 4.41% |
| 0.40 | 320 | 40.8 | 5.04% |
| 0.45 | 360 | 36.3 | 5.67% |
| 0.50 | 400 | 32.7 | 6.30% |
| 0.55 | 440 | 29.7 | 6.93% |
| 0.60 | 480 | 27.2 | 7.56% |
At 1,600 DPI the sens halves in both games. Valorant 0.2 at 1,600 DPI therefore equals 0.4 at 800 DPI and gives 2.52% in Fortnite.
| Valorant sens | eDPI | cm/360 | Fortnite sens (%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.10 | 160 | 81.6 | 1.26% |
| 0.125 | 200 | 65.3 | 1.58% |
| 0.15 | 240 | 54.4 | 1.89% |
| 0.175 | 280 | 46.7 | 2.21% |
| 0.20 | 320 | 40.8 | 2.52% |
| 0.25 | 400 | 32.7 | 3.15% |
| 0.30 | 480 | 27.2 | 3.78% |
So Valorant 0.2 to 0.6 at 800 DPI corresponds to roughly 2.5% to 7.6% in Fortnite. At 1,600 DPI the Fortnite percentages halve accordingly.
For the reverse direction, here are common Fortnite values in percent. The Valorant sens applies at the same DPI; the two right-hand columns show your 360° distance at 800 and 1,600 DPI.
| Fortnite sens (%) | Valorant sens | cm/360 at 800 DPI | cm/360 at 1,600 DPI |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4% | 0.317 | 51.4 | 25.7 |
| 5% | 0.397 | 41.2 | 20.6 |
| 6% | 0.476 | 34.3 | 17.1 |
| 7% | 0.555 | 29.4 | 14.7 |
| 8% | 0.635 | 25.7 | 12.9 |
| 9% | 0.714 | 22.9 | 11.4 |
| 10% | 0.794 | 20.6 | 10.3 |
| 12% | 0.952 | 17.1 | 8.6 |
Fortnite 8% at 800 DPI becomes Valorant 0.635 with 25.7 cm per turn. Fortnite 10% already gives Valorant 0.794 – a very fast sens for Valorant.
Fortnite has more sliders than Valorant. Only the normal mouse sens counts for the conversion; everything else is set separately:
Fortnite separates horizontal and vertical sensitivity. For an exact transfer, set both to the same percentage. The conversion refers to horizontal rotation (X).
Targeting sensitivity and scope sensitivity are their own percentage sliders. They are not multiplied by 12.6.
Valorant uses the ADS Sensitivity Multiplier for rifles and SMGs and the Scoped Sensitivity Multiplier for snipers. Both default to 1.0.
In Valorant the Spectre zooms 1.15× when aiming, the Vandal and Phantom 1.25×, and the Operator has two levels at 2.5× and 5×. The default of 1.0 makes a movement to the edge of the screen feel the same zoomed and unzoomed. If you want to carry over the feel right at the crosshair, the math lands at about 0.908 for the Spectre, 0.870 for the Vandal and Phantom, and 0.747 for the Operator’s first zoom.

Our advice for Fortnite players: leave both Valorant multipliers at 1.0 at first. Your Fortnite targeting value isn’t a good benchmark, because Fortnite uses a third-person camera in its classic modes and Valorant is first-person – aiming feels different either way.
In classic Fortnite modes you rotate a camera that floats behind your character. In Valorant you look straight through your agent’s eyes. The cm/360 stays identical after converting, but perception doesn’t: in first-person, small movements feel more direct and every inaccuracy is more visible.
Building and editing are movements Valorant simply doesn’t have. Instead, Valorant asks for lots of small, precise corrections at head height. If your converted sens feels too fast in Valorant, that difference is often the reason – not a math error.
To see whether your Valorant sens is on the high or low side, compare it on our Valorant pro settings page.

Valorant to Fortnite sens: Valorant sens × 12.601 gives your Fortnite percentage, and Fortnite % × 0.0794 gives your Valorant sens – at the same DPI and with X and Y on the same value. Targeting and scope sliders stay out of it. Because Fortnite uses a third-person camera in its classic modes, the exactly converted sens will feel different in Valorant at first; give yourself a few sessions before fine-tuning in small steps.
Multiply your Valorant sens by 12.601 and enter the result in Fortnite as the percentage for X and Y. Valorant 0.4 becomes Fortnite 5.04%, as long as you use the same DPI in both games.
No, 0.4 at 800 DPI is a middle-of-the-road value for Valorant: 320 eDPI and about 40.8 cm per 360° turn. In Fortnite that equals 5.04%.
0.2 at 1,600 DPI is exactly the same sensitivity as 0.4 at 800 DPI: 320 eDPI and about 40.8 cm per turn, so a middle-of-the-road value. Whether it suits you depends on your playstyle and mousepad.
Fortnite 8% equals a Valorant sens of 0.635 at the same DPI. At 800 DPI that’s 25.7 cm for a 360° turn.
For an exact transfer, yes. The conversion refers to the horizontal axis (X); set Y to the same value and the mouse feels identical in both directions.
No. Targeting and scope sensitivity in Fortnite are separate sliders. In Valorant, start with the ADS and Scoped multipliers at 1.0 and only adjust them after testing.
Multiply your Fortnite percentage by 0.0794 (0.005555 ÷ 0.07) at the same DPI. Fortnite 6% becomes Valorant 0.476.
